It was my second time giving the Bible lesson. I was really nervousabout it and kept asking God to speak through me and give me strength. We also prayed that one child would come to know Christ that day at club.
After the Bible lesson I went to the back of the room to counsel any children who had questions, and two girls joined me. I asked the first girl if she had a question, and she said, “Yes, I want to ask Jesus into my heart!” I was so excited—it was the first time I’d ever gotten to lead a child I was counseling to Christ!
As I was sharing the gospel and asking her questions, I kept asking the Lord to show me just what to say. And He did—He kept speaking through me to this little girl! At the end she was so excited about being a child of God and reading her Bible!
