Laura Beasley serves as the In The Gap Director of Student Engagement. Her love for the Lord and people makes her perfect for this position. She was deeply impacted when she came as a student to Operation Impact and is excited to get to share that same opportunity with other young adults.

Ezra Creighton

When I was younger, my grandma asked me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I responded, “A missionary!” I assumed my ministry would be overseas. After all, America is a Christian nation, right? It wasn’t until I came to In The Gap as a student and went into the public schools that I realized how little the children know about Christ. I didn’t have to go overseas, learn a different language, and try to understand a new culture to be able to share the gospel with people who had never heard about Jesus before.

I went to Operation Impact in 2016 and it changed my life. I was stretched out of my comfort zone in a way that brought me to a place of surrendering to Christ and asking Him to work through my weaknesses. I also experienced the most amazing culture of Christians who were so focused on Jesus. Now I get to help coordinate Operation Impact, and it is my desire to see young people grow in their faith as they watch God work in and through them.”
