Lydia Martens
Lydia Martens serves as the Executive Assistant. She assists with the behind-the-scenes logistics for Mission 4/14, oversees campus hospitality, and helps with many other projects! Lydia serves with deep compassion and commitment and we are so blessed to have her as part of our team.
I am from the beautiful countryside of Illinois and am the second oldest of nine children. I enjoy singing, spending time outdoors, working on different projects, and spending time with family and friends. I love seeing God in everyday things and recognizing them as gifts from Him!
One of the things I am passionate about is that people know and experience the love and truth of Jesus. I want them to experience this in the everyday, whether that’s through a cheerful smile, a kind word, a listening ear, a helping hand, or times of prayer. It’s an incredible and beautiful thing to me that God uses us, any believer around the world, as His hands and feet to share His love and truth with those He places in our lives, even if it’s someone we meet only in passing. He has us, He has you, here for a reason and can use every act of obedience to change a life. May we be faithful, empty vessels for Him to flow through.
