During the first week of the session, the most difficult thing that I struggled with was communicating with pre-k to 1st graders in both schools and Bible clubs. Whenever I met
younger graders, I had no idea how and where to start the conversation and teach them! I really wanted the truth that we teach would be able to touch the kids’ heart, but it was just so hard to make it simple and clear!
But through watching the higher level interns teaching the kids, and also through trainings, I got to understand how to reach the children’s heart. Even though I learned so much from 10 day training camp at Eagle Springs and trainings on every Monday in Oklahoma, I didn’t exactly know how to use it. The upper levels knew how through experiences. I’m so grateful that God opened my eyes to reach the hearts of the young kids more effectively and for
giving me the experience to practice what I learned in an actual classroom setting. I am looking forward to be able to keep using the tools I learned when I get back to my home in Korea!
The Lord is faithful and I can only wonder what God’s next plan is for my life…but I cannot wait to find out!
