I enjoyed teaching this week because of the application that God allowed me to do with the students. This week as I was in their classes tutoring and playing with them at recess, I was able to take the things that we were learning in class about Creativity and personally apply it to their lives with them. At recess there were a couple of kids who were fighting. When they came to me, I was able to help them work out their problem using the point of “seeing things from another person’s perspective.” That is the neatest time when you are teaching – when you get to help the children personally apply the things to their lives. Then they see that what they are learning isn’t an abstract idea but something specific and personal to them.
