Lydia serves as the Photographer here at In The Gap and helps make all of our publications and training materials look sharp. She is passionate about developing high quality pictures that convey a clear message and compel viewers to take action.
“I grew up in a family of nine siblings and was always surrounded by a lot of creative fun and learning of practical life lessons. I love to work hard, play sports, travel abroad and spend time with family and friends. I am so thankful for the many eye-opening experiences God has given me in other cultures around the world. Getting to meet new people and go new places to share Jesus’ love gives me great joy! God has given me a passion to reach others with the message of the gospel. I love to share His story! There is nothing like sitting down next to a child and sharing what Jesus has done.
“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”-Forest E. Witcraft Teacher, Scholar
When I first came to In The Gap in the Spring of 2012 I saw the needs of the children in Oklahoma City and I also saw that the doors were open for In The Gap to reach children all over Oklahoma City. Children who otherwise may never have the opportunity to know or experience God’s love for them.
I want to give the next generation a vision for how they can make an impact.
I am blessed to serve on staff here at In The Gap and I am thrilled with the opportunity to use photography to communicate the work that God is doing in the hearts and lives of the children here in Oklahoma City.
The doors are open and I can’t wait to see what God will do!”
“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. It’s not my ability, but my response to God’s ability that counts.” – Corrie Ten BoomLydia
