“Mountain top views, soccer, being outdoors, playing guitar, mandolin, and banjulele, singing, drawing, and seeing new places are all things that I enjoy very much. I love the story of Paul in the Bible. God sent him on so many adventures. Paul was content with what God had him do and he devoted his whole life to knowing and serving Christ. When I was twelve years old God brought me to a place of surrendering my whole life to Him. ‘Here am I Lord, send me.’
God used missionary biographies and first hand stories from friends who were missionaries to inspire me to invest my life in eternity. God has taken me on many adventures! It was a privilege to serve with my family in Child Evangelism Fellowship. At twelve years old I started helping with 5-Day-Clubs during the summer and then Good News clubs during the school year. After graduating high school, I felt God calling me to “go,” but I didn’t know where. Then He opened the door for me to go on a missions trip to India with my sister. Two more trips have followed. In looking for ways to become more equipped in ministry, God led me to In The Gap. He has taught me so much and continues to enlarge my coasts as I serve Him here in Oklahoma.
One of the things I am passionate about is seeing young people follow Christ wholeheartedly. I want to see them enjoy the abundant life that Jesus sacrificed to give them, and be disciple-makers who are “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” I also have a burden to see Christians pour into their communities, allowing people to see Jesus love through them in personal and practical ways. I love the promise in Psalm 16:11; “Thou wilt show me the path of life, in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” I’m looking forward to the rest of the adventures God has for me!”
